We love that we are getting to see a sneak-peek of the violence that lays ahead for the next two movies. It’s time for the final showdown between the Capitol and the rebels, and things are about to get intense. Each poster features a character looking stoic and holding on to their choice weapon.
Lorde — Making Music For ‘Mockingjay Part 1′ Soundtrack
This has been the year of Lorde, 17! As HollywoodLife.com previously reported, in a statement released by Lionsgate, they announced that the Grammy award-winning artist had been tapped to curate the soundtrack! “In addition to hand-picking the artists for The Mockingjay- Part 1 soundtrack, Lorde will provide the first single for the highly anticipated film and album. The soundtrack will be available via Republic Records this fall.”
Lorde was also thrilled, saying, “Curating the soundtrack for such a hotly anticipated film was a challenge, but I jumped at the chance. The cast and story are an inspiration for all musicians participating and, as someone with cinematic leanings, being privy to a different creative process has been a unique experience. I think the soundtrack is definitely going to surprise people,” the singer said in a statement.
We can’t wait to see! The movie look amazing, and with Lorde in charge of the soundtrack, we are sure this will be one of the biggest box office draws of the fall!
