Halloween weekend celebrations at Hakkasan run Thursday, Oct. 30 through Sunday, Nov. 2. The renowned nightspot will transform as the Forbidden City returns honoring the Return of the Empress. Surrender Nightclub in Encore at Wynn Las Vegas transforms into a “Hot Zombie” themed haunt for Halloween Week 2014, presenting a series of costumed parties featuring DJ sets by DJ Snake, Diplo and Dillon Francis. The frightening festivities kick off on Oct. 29 with a Sexiest Costume contest for ladies featuring $20,000 in cash and prizes as DJ Snake spins his mix of hip-hop and electronic music. On Oct. 31, Diplo brings his hits to Surrender Nightclub’s Halloween night party. On Nov. 1, the Halloween spirit continues with Dillon Francis behind the decks and another Sexiest Costume contest for female guests with $10,000 in cash and prizes. Surrender Nightclub’s interior will be reimagined into a zombie apocalypse landscape complete with smashed city walls and remnants of the walking dead strewn throughout the venue, while the club’s cocktail servers will be transformed into sexy zombies.

Fright Dome

Fright Dome takes place in what is normally the family-friendly Adventuredome theme park. Come October, Fright Dome creator Jason Egan and his team transform the park into a spooky spectacular with terrifying haunted houses, multiple scare zones, live macabre entertainment and quite a few other scary surprises. This year’s haunted houses include The Texas Chainsaw Massacre haunted house; an Isolation haunted house where you go in by yourself if you dare; the Hillbilly Hell Offspring haunted house; Killer Clown 4-D; Zombie Quarantine 2.0 and Dead End. Scare Zones include the Dead West Zone, the Redrum Zone, the Clown Overload Zone and the Hyper Charged Zone.
The Asylum and Hotel Fear

The Asylum and Hotel Fear haunted houses return to Las Vegas in the Meadows Mall parking lot. The Asylum is southern Nevada’s longest running stand-alone haunted attraction celebrating its 16th year of thrills.The chilling Asylum and Hotel Fear will be open to brave visitors who crave an adrenaline rush on Oct. 3-4, Oct. 9-12, Oct. 16-19, Oct. 23-26, and Oct. 29-Nov. 1.
The Asylum and Hotel Fear are unique by interconnecting both themes into one terrifying story of the Vander and Feoray families. The frightening experience will admit “patients” 6:30 p.m. to midnight Fridays- Saturdays and 6:30 p.m. to 10 p.m. Thursdays and Sundays, and will operate special Halloween weekend hours, 6:30 p.m. – midnight Oct. 30- 31 and Nov. 1. Tickets are $15 for a single attraction, $25 for a combo ticket.

The Victim Experience offers a terrifyingly realistic, traumatic and horrifying test of psychological fortitude for those who think they have what it takes. This experience is not for everybody.You’re not the voyeur in this experience. You’re the victim. Things happen to you. Tickets are $120 for the Oct. 24 – 26 experiences and $150 for Halloween night. The experience includes safety training, orientation, a decompression period with complimentary drinks and a special edition “Survivor” shirt for those who make it through the experience. “Rockin’ Horror Picture Show” Bash

5th annual Las Vegas Halloween Parade

The 5th annual Las Vegas Halloween Parade returns to Downtown Las Vegas on Friday, Oct. 31 and is enlisting the help of all Las Vegans to make 2014’s parade “spook-tacular.” All costumed characters are invited to walk in the parade down historic Fremont Street East. The parade line-up begins at 4 p.m. on East Fremont and 13th St. The Las Vegas Halloween Parade begins promptly at 7 p.m. moving West along Fremont Street East to the after event, located at the end of the parade route.
Participants in the parade don their finest, spookiest or craziest costumes and participate for bragging rights and an exclusive trophy in the annual costume contest. Prizes will be awarded in the following categories – Best Group Costume, Best Float/Art Car, Best Illuminated Costume, Best Costume – 10 years old or younger and Most Outrageous Costume. The winner of Most Outrageous Costume will take away the prestigious Dr. Gooey Award, named for the wildest, most unpredictable friend, Dr. Gooey who passed away in 2011.
Sixth Annual OktoberFrightFest

Fremont Street Experience will once again transform itself for the Sixth Annual OktoberFrightFest, combining Oktoberfest and Halloween for the ultimate street party. The festivities will include free performances from the popular stage production show “Frank & The Steins,” “Vampire Rising” and “Halloween Hotties.” Viva Vision light and sound shows will also be themed to “Time Warp” and “Monster Mash.”
Hal-o-Ween Party

Aliante’s ETA Lounge will be rocking with the Hal Savar band from 7 – 10 p.m. along with a costume contest awarding prizes for scariest and sexiest costume, with $100 bar tabs up for grabs. Ghosts and ghouls will celebrate with $5 Jager and Fireball shots and $100 Ketel One bottle service will be available all night. A live DJ and go-go dancers will continue the party from 10 p.m. to 2 a.m.
“Ricky” Horror Mad Scientists and Monsters Costume Bash

Rx Boiler Room invites guests to unleash their inner mad scientist and ghoulish monster at its “Ricky” Horror Halloween Bash. The evening, which begins at 8 p.m., will include a costume party where guests are encouraged to arrive dressed in their eeriest mad scientist and monster inspired attire. In addition, the bash will feature contests and prizes. Select specialty cocktails created by lead barman Eric Smith, icy beer specials, and spooktacular themed menu items prepared by Chef Rick Moonen will also be available.

Commonwealth will host “Monsters Ball,” a Halloween-themed bash on Friday, Oct. 31, starting at 7 p.m. This festive celebration will feature specialty themed cocktails such as The Ghoul Digger, a concoction of bourbon whiskey, honey, fresh lemon and candy corn; A Witches Brew created with Guinness beer and apple cider; the Poison Apple, crafted with spiced pear vodka, green apple liqueur, fresh lemon and lime; and the Vamp Tramp, a sexy potion created using cherry noir Grey Goose vodka, raspberry liqueur and cranberry juice. Burlesque performer Ms. Redd will headline a sequence of sexy burlesque performances starting at 10 p.m. Guests are encouraged to dress to impress at the chance of winning $1,000 for the best overall costume, $500 for the sexiest costume and $500 for the scariest costume.

The LINQ Promenade will be the place to celebrate the ghoul season with Halloween programming starting October 24 with a decorated promenade and Halloween Trick or Treat bags distributed to children under the age of 17 at the High Roller. On October 30 and 31, family night will begin from 6 to 9 p.m. with candy being passed out from The LINQ retailers. Starting at 9 p.m. on Friday, October 31, the night will transition to a grown-up themed celebration with Silent Disco at The LINQ Fountain Stage and a costume contest for guests 21 years of age and older with a grand $10,000 prize.
Nightmare at Sam’s Town

Halloween at Sam’s Town Live! will be a scream at “Nightmare at Sam’s Town,” a party presented by Kaliboy Entertainment. Dance all night to tunes played by DJ Bizrok and DJ 011. Winners of the costume contest will take home $500 in cash. Doors open at 9 p.m. and tickets are $20 plus fees.
